3What happens in a therapy session?

Sessions are a confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I take a
collaborative, culturally responsive approach to help you work toward your goals.

4What issues do you specialize in?

I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, trauma, family conflict, life
transitions, self-esteem issues, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in supporting
interracial, queer, and racialized couples and families navigating cultural or, identity-based concerns,
communication or intimacy struggles and more.

5Do you offer culturally responsive therapy?

Yes! I take a culturally responsive and anti-oppressive approach, working with individuals, couples,
and families from diverse racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds. I understand the impact of family
expectations, intergenerational dynamics, migration, systemic oppression, and identity struggles,

This version keeps it inclusive while making it clear that you support clients from all backgrounds, not
just South Asian communities.

It's normal to feel uncertain about therapy. In our first session, we can discuss concerns and explore how
therapy might be helpful. I work collaboratively with couples and families to create a supportive
environment where everyone feels heard.

9How can I prepare for my first therapy session?

There’s no right or wrong way to start therapy. If you’d like, you can think about what’s been on your
mind lately, what challenges you’re facing, or what you’d like to change. Otherwise, just come as
you are, and we’ll explore things together at your own pace.
